LA FIRST FUND 2025 GATOR is a joint fundraising representative for CAJUN PAC II, INC., the REPUBLICAN PARTY OF LOUISIANA, and PROTECT LOUISIANA’S CHILDREN, LLC.
Any contribution to LA FIRST FUND 2025 GATOR permissible under the Louisiana Campaign Finance and Disclosure Act from contributors who have not exceeded their applicable contribution limits will be allocated among the Participants (CAJUN PAC II, INC., the REPUBLICAN PARTY OF LOUISIANA, and PROTECT LOUISIANA’S CHILDREN, LLC.) from the net fundraising proceeds, as follows:
a) The first $95,000 from an individual shall be allocated to CAJUN PAC II. The next $5,000 from an individual shall be allocated to REPUBLICAN PARTY OF LOUISIANA’s GOVERNOR’S VICTORY FUND account for the 2027 General Election. The next $5,000 from an individual shall be allocated to CAJUN PAC II. The next $195,000 from an individual shall be allocated to PROTECT LOUISIANA’S CHILDREN.
b) The first $190,000 from a joint individual contribution (personal money) shall be allocated to CAJUN PAC II. The next $10,000 from a joint individual contribution (personal money) shall be allocated to REPUBLICAN PARTY OF LOUISIANA’S GOVERNOR’S VICTORY FUND account for the 2027 General Election. The next $10,000 from a joint contribution shall be allocated to CAJUN PAC II. The next $400,000 from a joint contribution shall be allocated to PROTECT LOUISIANA’S CHILDREN.
c) The first $12,000 from a political action committee not registered with the Louisiana Ethics Administration as having over 250 members shall be allocated to CAJUN PAC II. The next $5,000 from a political action committee not registered with the Louisiana Ethics Administration as having over 250 members shall be allocated to REPUBLICAN PARTY OF LOUISIANA’S GOVERNOR’S VICTORY FUND account for the 2027 General Election. The next $283,000 from a political action committee not registered with the Louisiana Ethics Administration as having over 250 members shall be allocated to PROTECT LOUISIANA’S CHILDREN.
d) The first $24,000 from a qualified political action committee which is registered with the Louisiana Ethics Administration as having over 250 members shall be allocated to CAJUN PAC II for the 2027 Primary Election. The next $10,000 from a qualified political action committee which is registered with the Louisiana Ethics Administration as having over 250 members shall be allocated to the REPUBLICAN PARTY OF LOUISIANA’s GOVERNOR’S VICTORY FUND account for the 2027 General Election. The next $266,000 from a political action committee not registered with the Louisiana Ethics Administration as having over 250 members shall be allocated to PROTECT LOUISIANA’S CHILDREN.
e) The first $95,000 from a corporation shall be allocated to CAJUN PAC II. The next $5,000 from a corporation shall be allocated to the REPUBLICAN PARTY OF LOUISIANA’s GOVERNOR’S VICTORY FUND account for the 2027 General Election. The next $5,000 from a corporation shall be allocated to CAJUN PAC II. The next $195,000 from a corporation shall be allocated to PROTECT LOUISIANA’S CHILDREN.
Contributions to LA First Fund 2025 GATOR that exceed a contributor’s contribution limit to a Participant (Cajun PAC II or Republican Party of Louisiana) shall be reallocated to the remaining Participants (Cajun PAC II, Republican Party of Louisiana, or Protect Louisiana’s Children) according to this allocation formula and as permitted by law. If reallocation results in a violation of the contributor’s state contribution limit, LA First Fund 2025 GATOR shall return to the contributorthe amount of the contribution that exceeds the limit. If a contribution is otherwise not permissible under the Louisiana Campaign Finance and Disclosure Act, it shall be refunded to the contributor.
Notwithstanding the allocation formula described above, contributions may be designated by the contributor for a specific Participant (Cajun PAC II, Republican Party of Louisiana, or Protect Louisiana’s Children), notwithstanding the stated allocation formula, to the extent permitted by law. Any such designated contribution that exceeds the contributor’s limit to the designated Participant shall not be reallocated by LA First Fund 2025 GATOR absent the prior written permission of the contributor.
All contribution checks to support LA First Fund 2025 GATOR shall be made payable to “LA First Fund 2025 GATOR.” Any contributor may instead make his or her contribution payable directly to any of the participants (Cajun PAC II, Republican Party of Louisiana Victory Fund, or Protect Louisiana’s Children), subject to the applicable limits.
The maximum an individual may contribute to a Louisiana political action committee (PAC) is $100,000 for 2025. The maximum an individual may contribute to a Louisiana major state party committee is $100,000 for 2025.
The maximum a married couple may contribute to a Louisiana political action committee (PAC) is $200,000 for 2025. The maximum a married couple may contribute to a Louisiana major state party committee is $200,000 for 2025. The maximum a corporation (or other legal entity) may contribute to a Louisiana political action committee (PAC) is $100,000 in 2025.
The maximum a corporation (or other legal entity) may contribute to a Louisiana major state party committee is $100,000 for 2025. The maximum a qualified PAC with over 250 members may contribute to a political action committee (PAC) is $24,000.
The maximum a qualified PAC with over 250 members may contribute to a Louisiana major state party committee is $250,000 for 2025. The maximum a PAC with less than 250 members may contribute to a political action committee (PAC) is $12,000.
The maximum a PAC with less than 250 members may contribute to a Louisiana major state party committee is $250,000 for 2025.
All funds received in response to this solicitation will be subject to state contribution limits and prohibitions. Contributions by any person substantially interested in the gaming industry in Louisiana (as defined in L.A. R.S. § 18:1505.2(L)(3)), or by any foreign national (as defined in L.A. R.S. § 18:1505.2(M)) including any non-citizen individual without a green card, foreign government, or foreign entity not registered to do business in Louisiana, are prohibited.
Any contribution made to LA FIRST FUND 2025 GATOR by any person substantially interested in the gaming industry in Louisiana (as defined in L.A. R.S. § 18:1505.2(L)(3)), by any foreign national (as defined in L.A. R.S. § 18:1505.2(M)) including any non-citizen individual without a green card, foreign government, or foreign entity not registered to do business in Louisiana, or by any impermissible source set forth in Louisiana law, shall be returned to the contributor.
LA FIRST FUND 2025 GATOR or any Participant (Cajun PAC II, the Republican Party of Louisiana, or Protect Louisiana’s Children) may decline to accept any contribution from any source, the legality of accepting such contribution notwithstanding.
Contributions to LA FIRST FUND 2025 GATOR, or any Participant, are not deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes. State law requires us to use our best efforts to collect and report the name and mailing address of each contributor. Neither personal nor corporate contributions may be reimbursed by another person or entity.
